Terms and Conditions
Quotes and fixed prices
Quotes are free and based on the information you give us about the property, its size, the floor, lift access, carrying distance and the date. A quote is valid for 30 days and is a fixed price, not an estimate.
If conditions on site differ significantly from what was described – considerably more to move, a lift out of service, or nowhere to park within a hundred metres of the entrance – we will contact you before continuing and agree a new price with you. We never carry out extra work you have not approved.
Booking
A booking is binding on both parties once we have sent written confirmation by email or text message.
Cancellation and rescheduling
- At least 72 hours before the agreed time: free of charge.
- Between 72 and 24 hours before: we may charge 50% of the agreed price.
- Less than 24 hours before, or if we cannot get into the property at the agreed time: the full agreed price may be charged.
If the handover of your new home is delayed, or if you fall ill, we will reschedule you once free of charge subject to availability. In severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control we may need to move the appointment; in that case we offer a new time as soon as possible at no cost to you.
Liability and insurance
We hold Swedish F-tax approval and are insured with Länsförsäkringar. We are liable for damage to your goods or your property caused by our negligence.
- Damage must be reported in writing within seven days of the job, ideally with a photo.
- We are not liable for the contents of boxes you packed yourself where the damage is caused by the packing.
- Cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and computers holding irreplaceable data should be transported by you personally.
- We do not transport hazardous goods such as gas cylinders, fuel, fireworks or opened paint.
- We are not liable for normal wear and tear, or for damage to surfaces that existed before the job.
What we need from you
So that the work runs to plan, we need access to the property at the agreed time, a clear route and parking as close to the entrance as possible. The freezer should be defrosted and cupboards emptied unless you have booked packing assistance.
RUT tax deduction
For private individuals we apply the RUT deduction directly to the invoice: up to 50% of the labour cost, capped at SEK 75,000 per person per year. Removals, end-of-tenancy cleaning, home cleaning, window cleaning and estate cleaning all qualify. Storage and services for businesses do not.
You are responsible for being eligible and for having allowance left for the year. If the Swedish Tax Agency refuses the deduction in whole or in part, we will invoice the difference.
Payment
We invoice after the work is completed, with ten-day payment terms unless otherwise agreed. Late payment incurs a reminder fee and interest under the Swedish Interest Act. For larger business assignments, staged payments can be agreed in advance.
Complaints and guarantee
If you are not happy with the cleaning, tell us within seven days. We will come back and put right whatever was raised, at no extra cost. The same applies if an end-of-tenancy clean fails the landlord's or estate agent's inspection: we re-clean the areas that were flagged.
Disputes
Swedish law applies to the work. If we cannot reach agreement, consumers may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), whose recommendations we follow.
Business customers
For work carried out for businesses, these terms apply as far as relevant, with the exception of consumer-specific rules and the RUT deduction. For ongoing assignments we are happy to draw up a separate agreement.
